  3. How does the error of thinking you are worthy of mercy make it hard to show mercy to your enemies?

  5. What is involved in God showing mercy to Jonah?
  6. Is doing good to our enemies a simple matter of making their lives comfortable? What is involved in showing mercy to those who wrong you?
  7. Why is clarifying your motivation an essential part of causing discomfort to one’s enemies?
  8. What is the difference between the desire for revenge and the desire for restoration?
  9. Why are you angry? Try to trace the discomfort you now face and see if there are any sinful roots of disobedience in other areas of your life.

  11. Consider how you can work through your various roles and responsibilities to make good come for animals and people.
  12. Pray for an opportunity to share the gospel with your neighbors.
